Bad Habits vs. Fitness Programs

During every start of the year, particularly New Year’s Eve, many people tend to make their own New Year’s resolution. This is a promise to one’s self of a start of a certain activity or the end of one. Many people, both men and women, include physical fitness and wellness in the resolutions they make. Some of them tend to buy fitness programs that they see on television, in the internet and print ads like the power 90 fitness program, yet, most of them have the tendency to just take a look at it and then just toss it in the rack along with their other cds and dvds and completely forget about it the whole year.

This behavior is common among both men and women who don’t commit to their goal of becoming healthier due to the fact that it may cause them to change their lifestyle. Aside from incorporating exercise to one’s daily schedule and everyday habit, fitness programs also encourages people to lessen and then completely eliminate bad health habits such as smoking, eating junk foods, oversleeping, and eating fatty foods. These habits are hard to break for some people, especially for those who have been doing them for many years and those who have taken these habits from their parents and older family members. While others tend to result to fitness programs like slim in 6 workout that promises results in a shorter period of time, there are still some of them who quit the program early after experiencing body pains and muscle sores due to the constant putting of effort in the body’s muscles.

Fitness programs alone don’t cause one to lose weight or develop muscles. More often than not, attitude and perseverance do wonders in reaching the goal of a healthier life.
